Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create or use an account, you may sign in with Google or Apple. We collect information provided through those sign-in services, such as your name, email address, account identifier, and profile information.
If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may allow you to hide your email address. In that case, we receive the private relay email address provided by Apple instead of your personal email address.
Profile Information: You may choose to set a personal username and upload an avatar. Your username and avatar may be visible to other users in the app, including users who search for or follow you.
Podcast Activity: We store information about your podcast activity, including podcasts you subscribe to, episodes shown to you, podcasts you like, users you follow, and recommendation-related activity.
If you like a podcast, that activity may be recommended or shown to users who follow you.
Location Information: Dily requests approximate location information once using Expo location services. We use this to help determine your timezone and improve the timing of app features.
We do not use your location for ongoing tracking.
Notifications: If you enable push notifications, we collect and use push notification identifiers to send you notifications. These may include notifications about new episodes, recommendations, followers, likes, and app updates.
You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
Analytics Information: We use PostHog to collect analytics information about how users interact with Dily. This helps us understand app usage, improve features, fix issues, and make the app better.
Analytics data may include device information, app interactions, feature usage, session activity, and technical information.
Emails: If your login provides an email address, we may occasionally email you. Emails may include account-related messages, product updates, recommendations, security notices, or other information related to Dily.
You can opt out of non-essential emails by contacting us.
